Thanks for the feedback on the essay -- trying to work with some old material and some new to create a delightful confection. Oh, I want to know about Shutter Island! It's the first film in forever that I've wanted to see. Saw Percy Jackson & the Olympians today. Cute, slight. Excellent CGI monsters. Uma Thurman was born to have snakes for hair. xo

When you really sit and listen to the young it seems that Mayer somehow embodies their current underdeveloped philosophy.

To be honest, although I've heard something about a lot of shock regarding the interview or article or whatever, I haven't bothered looking into it. I don't even know who John Meyer is.
