Friday Fright Night

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the sweet words of support. I'm doing all right and will probably write about my current situation when I have a little distance from it as is my way. But for the weekend question, I'm going to ask for your favorite horror/ Halloween movies. Mine include The Shining (of course, what could be better for a writer?!), Carrie (those dirty pillows!), and The Exorcist. I have others that I will suggest over the month, but I'd love to hear from you. Happy Friday!

"The Tingler" with Vincent Price. A human spinal column strangles people. I'm not kidding. Filmed in screamarama.--Oscar Winner

Angel Heart. Robert De Niro's fingernails are worth the rental fee.

Alien, Ghost Story (although the book was better, of course,) & The Fly (which was so horrific to me I can't even watch parts of it NOW, years later!)

Mine has to be The Haunting (1963).

A month or so after P and I began dating, we watched it on my tiny television on a bright and shiny fall afternoon. But even in the middle of the day, when that disembodied knocking started we were both scared to death!
