Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you're having a great day and am glad to see Charles and Lana back from the claws of Gustav! I'm still working on my big section of Second Day Reported and will post a few paragraphs tomorrow.
I think we're going to have to name that dress...my suggestion in light of this particular post is..."Expectation." Is there a mantilla that would fit with it?
Nevermind the dress; I'm looking at her bookshelf. Can never go wrong reading John Cheever. Ann Beattie's no slouch either. Just read her new short story in Glimmer Train.
