Coming Attractions

Hey readers! Still deep in recovery. Please continue with the prayers and good thoughts. The new Iowa Review is here (Winter 2008/2009, Vol. 38, No. 3). I'll post the essay tomorrow. Iowa Review is great. Please support the small literary presses when and where you can!

Happy first day of Winter!

Glad you are still improving. Hey, soon, you'll be better than ever! You're very right about the need to support the small press.

Uhhh dufus..."Happy winter" Which by the by is an oxymoron and as completely unreachable as a goal as walking to the moon.

Sheesh...still getting the good drugs?

Get well soon. And, yeah, "happy winter" works. It's a great time for cerebral activities. Summer's too distracting.

Hey Michelle, I have not talked to you in person for ages, literally. But, I regularly visit your blog site. I am very proud of you, congratulations on your writing. I am very sad to hear what had happened to you recently. It is so much behind you and I do understand you better than many. I am RN now, and I am working for the hospital. If there is or would be anything I can do for you, let me know. Get better. Nina.

Make sure you're getting enough rest, woman. I had a hard time after my own appendectomy, which was hellish enough, nevermind what YOU must've been through!

Hey lovely Michelle,
I've been sending prayers your way -- hope you feel the light. You were in my dream last week; I just remember talking to you and noticing your thin, strong arms. When i woke, the dream felt hopeful to me, somehow. I'm glad to hear you're recovering.
*Much healing and love*
