Pure Michigan

Happy 173rd birthday to my dear state of Michigan! I hope you guys are having a great week. I've decided that my horror novel is going to be psychological rather than demonic even though I really enjoyed "Evening With An Exorcist" night at St. Patrick's not so long ago. I'm going to start posting little bits this week.

Michelle's Spell of the Day
"I remind young people everywhere I go, one of the worst things the older generation did was to tell them for twenty-five years "Be successful, be successful, be successful" as opposed to "Be great, be great, be great". There's a qualititative difference." Cornel West

Cocktail Hour
Drinking vodka suggestion: Dripping Springs -- it's a vodka from Texas and the name makes it sound like a particularly nasty STD, but it's the smoothest vodka I have tasted in a long time.

Benedictions and Maledictions
Happy Tuesday!

Michelley Belle, the "Exorcist" was the first movie I ever walked out on. However, I made it thru the book and then became obsessed with learning about true possession and exorcism. God, I am so easily entranced and swayed..xo

Psychological horror is the scariest kind, in my opinion. Can't wait to read it!

The state is a hundred seventy three but why do they who run this place have to make the rest of us who live here feel like we are that age?

We went to the same typing school! I have to look at the keyboard too.

I'll have to look for the Drippy stuff. If you can find it in your peregrinations, there's a really nice vodka from Bend (Oregon) Distillery called Crater Lake Vodka.

I'm a big fan of monsters myself, but I'm guessing you will do the psychological well.
