Summer doesn't hold the excitement and adventure it used to when I was younger. Now there's just more grass to mow, more chores to do... actually your list sounds pretty good.
You people with tails---are you extraterrestrial? I sit on my ass; but my favorite thing to do is sweat in the glorious heat rushing at us from the molten core of the sun.
I love sitting, too, in my swing in the backyard, watching the birds and seeing all the flowers bloom in the garden. Mike sits next to me, doing his puzzles while I sip iced tea and read a good book! And there's nothing quite like the anticipation of vacation in August. Once that happens, though, I start dreading the end... Spring/Summer are my favorite times of the year.
