Here's to the great Martin Luther King, Jr! My favorite quote from Dr. King is the one about how we will remember the silence of our friends far more than the angry words of our enemies. I remember Dr. Hollaman, the first African-American principal at Robert E. Lee Middle School putting Dr. King's picture in his office, replacing Robert E. Lee's picture to much local scandal. Hope you're having a wonderful Monday, my dears.

I do like that quote quite a lot.
You look so dangerous here, sweetie!
I heard this MLK quote this morning--it was on the bulletin board of a radio producer named Royal Marshall. He died over the weekend. I find it very inspirational.
"The Christian faith makes it possible for us to accept that which cannot be changed, to meet disappointment and sorrow with an inner poise, and to absorb the most intense pain without abandoning our sense of hope, for we know, as Paul testified, in life or death, in Spain or Rome, "that all things work together to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." - Martin Luther King, Jr
Michelle ma belle, MLK was a superstar. Undoubtedly. My wish is that he was honored more on what he said and did rather that just 'a day off' name. Up north, he was barely mentioned-a scandal on it's own.. xoox
