Hi everyone! I've been recovering from the finish of my book and will be back to doing posts tomorrow! Thanks for all the love and support. I watched
The Wrestler last night and cried my eyes out. Review to come!

I've always liked Mickey Rourke, his flaws and all. As soon as "The Wrestler" comes out on DVD I'll watch it.
Sweeeet. I love to cry, I'll have to check it out.
P.S. Thank you for the unique prizes ;0)
Hi Michelle!
Glad to hear you're taking it easy , and got to take in The Wrestler. I can't wait to read your review.
Hope the rest of your weekend is good. Take care...oh, nice pic. :)
I haven't seen that one. I watched "Wanted" tonight. Was kind of silly.
I have the book...as it isn't working as a door stop, I suppose I should read it.
RIP, John Mortimer. Your Rumpole was quite a character. Dickensian, for sure, sir.--Herman Northrup Frye
Hi Dr. Brooks!
Not sure if you remember me from Comp and Creative Writing - but you probably do, since I'm so unforgetable. (Ha ha, joking!)
I ran across your blog - and funny, I was just talking about you the other day!! Strange.
Hope you're doing well!!
xoxo, Amber Choike
The previews for that make me think of "The Champ," which was devestating to watch as a child who'd recently lost their own father. I must give it a chance, though. Mickey Rourke's way cool. Have you ever seen "Barfly?" If not, I recommend it.
