Detroit Red Wings sweep the Avalanche. Franzen "The Mule" breaks Detroit hockey legend Gordie Howe's playoff scoring record. Franzen scored his second hat trick of the playoffs as the Wings eliminated the Avs. The Wings move on to the Western conference finals against either Dallas or San Jose. Go Wings!--JLCGULL
